CA-NV Range Map Program

Nursery - Alder Springs

Here is a great series of range maps for all of the conifer species in California and Nevada. It has been prepared by the Arboretum de Villardebelle. This is a downloadable program, and the instructions on how to run it are listed below.

Instructions:

The CA.EXE is a self extracting program.
After decompression, you will get 4 files :

CALIF.EXE the program file
CA_NV.PCX the graphic map
CALIF.DBF the database file
README.1ST this file

Make sure that the first three files are in the same directory.

Then, simply run the file CALIF.EXE

Move between the species with the arrow keys, or with PageUp/PageDown.
To exit the program, use the ESC key

All files are free of use as far as they are for individual,
non-commercial use.
