Pinus sabiniana

Growing with Juniperus californica and Pinus monophylla. Normaly Pinus sabiniana and Pinus
monophylla are widely separated, sabiniana growing in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada, and monophylla at the foot of the eastern Sierra. Here at the southern end of the Sierra, the mountains are low enough for species of each side of the mountains to cross over to the other side.
